Maxgearettes Mel smashed the opposition at Rollapoluza to win, setting the fastest female time to date - 22.06 seconds over 500 metres on a bike fixed to a set of rollers - which would have placed her 3rd in the Men's competition. Nicola came second in an all Maxgear final. Matt Rotherham (GB sprint squad) won the men's competition, setting sub 22 second qualifying times. The event was held at the Antwerp Mansion off Wilmslow Road, with a great urban atmosphere. The competition will head down to London on Good Friday where the girls will compete in the final round for the overall title, which Melissa has held for the previous two years!
