It’s been a successful weekend for the Maxgearettes...Nicola won the scratch and course des primes races and finished third in the points race at the Manchester Regional Track league, moving her up to joint third woman overall in the points table.
At the Tameside women's criterium on Sunday, Mel won the bunch kick to finish third, where Frankie and Hayley also finished in the top ten giving the team a great kick start to the 2012 race season.
The girls are looking forward to a team training camp this weekend in the lakes, where they will be racing the Women's only criterium at Salt Ayre and get the chance to train together as a team for the first time.
